DIY CHIA PUDDING

Three different ways to eat chia pudding. Are you guys ready? Head in the kitchen, put on an apron and let's start making this yummy treat...

For those who don't know what is chia pudding, well I can't help you as I don't really know myself what it is. All I know is that it is a seed that expands and becomes gluey when mixed with water or milk. A little weird but so yummy that you just forget about the entire process. Before sharing my recipe I'd like to warn those who don't like gluey things, such as tapioca pearls that you find in bubble tea's to not make or try this.

The basic recipe for the perfect Chia pudding is :

- 3 or 4 Tablespoons of Chia Seeds
- 150 ml of Almond milk (or any milk)

Optional :

- 1 Tablespoon of Agave syrup or Honey (for those who have a sweet tooth, I personally don't add any)
- 1 Tablespoon of Matcha powder (if you want to spice up your recipe, I recommend starting with the original recipe and then start going crazy and adding flavours)

Toppings :

- For the Matcha Chia Pudding I used some 0% yoghurt with dried fruits
- One of my favourite topping with the original recipe is passion fruit, it adds some taste and texture
- My fav fav fav is topping it with fresh raspberries and a tablespoon of almond butter

Facts about chia pudding? It is very nutritional and keeps you full for a few hours which is good when wanting to eat while staying light and healthy. Another fact about this treat is that (when following my recipe) there is less than 150 calories in every puddings. How great right? Obviously the more toppings you add the more calories there will be, but still if you follow my recipes you shouldn't go further than 200 calories which is perfect for breakfast or even snack.
