WHITE SUBTERFUGE

Hello my dear fashion lovers! Yesterday's outfit was all white everything {Or nearly...} for the Cavalli Club afternoon champagne brunch and party. Such a nice and chic place to have brunch...

As you may now know, yesterday's secret location was the Cavalli Club in Milan that organised this fabulous champagne brunch (how cool and posh does that sound, right?) from 1 to 4 and then it was party time with the best music till 6. Being there felt just right! - We were surrounded by very stylish people and delicious food, what else? If you guys are following me on my instagram: carla_ginola you may have seen some pictures showing the decoration and food of the Cavalli Club which is so original yet beautiful. The tables were all in leopard and the chairs were in this amazing blue turquoise pattern, very Cavalli style. Food wise it was as expected, exquisite/delightful/delicious/tasty whatever synonym you want. As starter I shared with Vic a tuna tartare and burrata (for those who may not know, burrata is a delicious and creamy type of mozzarella, very famous here in Milan yet difficult to find in any other country), then as main dish I opted for truffle pasta that were just perfect. Reading this you might ask yourself that it doesn't really seem like a brunch as it doesn't include any pancakes, toasts or other delicious and typical brunch dishes. I was myself surprised to not find any of these basics, but I guess each restaurant has it's own way of interpreting brunch.

For this occasion I decided to wear these gorgeous Isabel Marant track pants I bought in one of the outlets I've recently been to and talked about in one of my previous post. How elegant and chic are they? Track pants are usually very sporty and almost impossible to wear with any heels, although, Isabel Marant in this collection managed to make track pants very chic. To go with it, I chose to wear a white Sandro one sleeve jumper and my recent purchase, these Kurt Geiger pointed toe heels. Since I bought them I feel like I can wear them with any of the cloths I have in my closet. The neutral colour makes it easy to wear with anything. Now, a very important part of this outfit: the accessories. As jewels, I am wearing this ear cuff I bought on Etsy, one of my favorite Hipanema bracelet and finally a very baroque style Zara clutch I bought last year.
