CHOCO {Black & White} CHIP COOKIES

Here's the famous cookie recipe i told you about, so proud of myself. You may think it's no big deal! No big deal? For me it means everything. You can't imagine how hard it has been for me to make good cookies, even following carefully the recipes i never got the same result as on the pictures, so yes it is a big deal. I could have give up but as i love cookies so much it has become a mission. Now i can finally share with you my precious recipe and if it worked for me it will definitely work for you.

INGREDIENTS: (To make about 12 cookies)

250g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
170g unsalted butter (melted)
200g brown sugar
100g caster sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract or powder
1 egg + 1 egg yolk (which is the yellow part of the egg)
250g chocolate of your choice (chopped into small chunks)

STEPS:

Preheat the oven to 170C - 340F.

Show time!

First, in a bowl put your flour, bicarbonate and salt together. (set to the side)
Then, in a separate bowl mix together your sugarS and melted butter.
Next, beat in your eggs and vanilla extract until you're left with a very smooth and liquid texture.
Pour it into your dry mix and now use a food processor or call a strong man to help you.
Once everything is well mixed together pour in your chocolate chunks and knead it all together with your hands so that everything is well distributed.

Now that your mix is done, grab a small handful of cookie and mould it into a ball.
Place it onto your tray and flatten it a bit.

Time for the heat!

Put your cookies into the oven for about 10-12 minutes (depends how you want them baked - Leave them longer for a more crunchy sensation and less for a melty feeling).

Time to cool a little.

Remove from the paper and place them to cool on a wire rack or on a cold work plan.

Now time to enjoy some delicious homemade cookies..
Bon appétit!
